It was originally recorded and released in 1997 on CD-R and combines elements of ambient, chill-out, IDM, and techno styles. From the artist: A number of years ago, I created some imaginary character concepts, loosely inspired by the idea of spirits — or 'Loas' — from Voodoo stories. I did some automatic writing and came-up with about ten or so 'beings', complete with names, traits and behaviors (largely nebulous and indistinct). New mythical creatures from my unconscious, so to speak.
